- Thickened sludge inventory observed as needing reduction & valves are set to transfer to the VDB -
- Polymer is mixed and aged, then flash mixed with the sludge enroute to the bed in polymer / sludge blender

- Coagulated solids pumped on to vacuum Bed (18”-30” depth) at a high rate, (loading time < 30 min)
